Elsworth Rockefeller Named Adult and Teen Services Manager at Oak Park Public Library
Elsworth Rockefeller has been named Adult and Teen Services Manager at the Oak Park Public Library. In this position, Elsworth will lead staff in delivering outstanding service to adults and teens in Oak Park. Elsworth will also assist in envisioning and creating new innovative library services for the Oak Park community.
Adult and Teen Services staff help customers find good things to read/view/listen to, assist customers with research, build responsive collections, develop events and classes, and participate in community events. In the coming months, Elsworth will focus on expanding community partnerships, enhancing technology training, and developing new services for job seekers and entrepreneurs.

Elsworth received his MA in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was selected as an Emerging Leader by both the American Library Association and the New Jersey Library Association. Elsworth was previously employed at the District of Columbia Public Library where he served as the Manager of Children's and Teen Services at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library. Prior to joining DCPL, Elsworth held progressively responsible positions at the Ocean County Library in New Jersey.
