Car Stolen at Oak Park Gas Station: Police Blotter

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6

Retail Theft

Leroy Burton Jr., 45, of the 1800 block of S. 9th in Maywood, was charged with felony retail theft. He was given a March 8 court date. 

Car Stolen at Gas Station

A man stole a 2011 Subaru Impreza at a gas station in the 6100 block of N. Avenue while gas was being pumped. The man was described as a 19-year-old black male, about 5-foot-7 and 140 pounds, and wearing a blue hoodies, jeans and white shoes. He was last seeing heading eastbound on North Avenue. 

Residential Burglary

A man was seen carrying a box of items from a home in the 800 block of N. Marion at about 2 p.m. Various electronics were stolen from the home, and the estimated loss was $8,670.

Drug Paraphernalia

Tyler R. Reilly, 18, of the 100 block of Marengo in Forest Park, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer. The previous week he was arrested in Forest Park on underage drinking charges. 

Criminal Trespass

Two male juveniles from Oak Park were charged with criminal trespass after entering a building in the 100 block of Lake Street. 

Robbery Charge

Jessie A. Guzman Jr., 20, of the 1600 block of 50th Court in Cicero, was charged with a robbery that occurred Feb. 15 in the 1100 block of S. Harvey in Oak Park.
