Gun Pulled at ATM, Teens Mug Man: Police Blotter

Oak Park police reports, March 9-10.

 

SUNDAY, MARCH 10

Man Mugged 

Three men mugged someone at 3:54 p.m. in the 1100 block of N. Ridgeland, stealing the man's wallet. The estimated loss is $155.

The men were all described as black, between 17 and 19, about 6 feet tall and 160 pounds. One man was wearing a black knit cap, a green sweatshirt with a yellow design on the back and blue jeans. The second man had dreadlocks and was wearing a blue or black hoodie and blue jeans. The third man was wearing a red hoodie and blue jeans. 

SATURDAY, MARCH 9

Armed Robbery

A man entered an ATM area in the 6000 block of Roosevelt Road at 1:45 p.m. March 9 and displayed a handgun to someone in the area. The robber grabbed money from the victim's hands, but the victim grabbed the money back when the offender fled east on Roosevelt. 

The man is described as white, in his 30s, 5-foot-9, 120 pounds, with brown hair and yellow gapped teeth. He was wearing a blue jacket with a fur hood, black pants, black shoes with gray stripes and a black backpack.
