Oak Park Police Blotter: Two Arrested for DUI
The following information was supplied by the Oak Park Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Theft: A rain barrel was stolen Jan. 24 from the rear of a building in the 1100 block of South Lombard Avenue. Estimated loss was $60.
Warrant Arrest: Rondranique D Tate, 20, of Cicero, was arrested Jan. 25 on an active Oak Park warrant for failing to appear in court on a battery charge, police said.
Attempted Auto Theft: A 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix was nearly stolen from a lot in the 1200 block of North Austin Boulevard Jan. 25 when someone got into the vehicle and peeled the steering column, damaging the wires. Entry to the car was gained by defeating the driver’s door lock with a pry tool. Estimated damage was $1,000.
Theft: An air conditioner condenser unit was stolen sometime between Jan. 24 and Jan. 25 from the north side of a building in the 200 block of Chicago Avenue. Estimated loss was $1,500.
Outside Warrant: Noah Dearmond, 27, of Lisle, was arrested on an active warrant out of Kane County Jan. 26 for contempt of court on a weapons offense, police said. He was apprehended in the 1100 block of South Euclid Avenue.
Theft: A 26-inch bicycle locked to a rack in front of the Ridgeland Avenue CTA Green Line stop was stolen Jan. 25. Estimated loss was $115.
Aggravated DUI Charge: Ricardo C. Hernandez, 44, of Cicero, was charged with aggravated drunken driving, drunken driving and illegal transportation of alcohol Jan. 22 after a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Austin Boulevard, police said.
DUI Charge: Merab Tsuleiskiri, 48, of Skokie, was charged with drunken driving Jan. 21 after a traffic stop in the 600 block of North Harlem Avenue, police said.
