2 Oak Park Youths Robbed, One at Gunpoint: Oak Park Police Blotter
Police report two Oak Park juveniles robbed in separate incidents.
Juvenile Robbed on Adams
A Juvenile Oak Park resident reported on Oct. 27 that he was robbed in the 100 block of south Adams at about 4:10 p.m. The robber was described as black male in his 40s, with black and grey hair, a full mustache and wearing a green and black coat with blue lining.
The man approached the victim and offered to sell him a pair of shoes for $2 and then pushed him to the ground and stole his Samsung Galaxy cell phone before fleeing on foot into Chicago. The estimated loss was $402.

Juvenile Robbed at Gunpoint
A juvenile Oak Park resident reported that they were robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 20 in the 800 block of south East Avenue at about 9:20 p.m. The robber was described as a man about 16-20 years old, black, wearing a red hat and black track jacket. He approached and grabbed the victim and pointed a small semi-automatic handgun at their stomach. Stolen was a white HTC Wild Fire cell phone. A second offender kept watch, described as a man about 16-20 years old, black, thin and wearing a du-rag and tank top. Both men fled on foot south on East Avenue. The estimated loss was $235.
