Sex, Drugs and Fleeing Police: River Forest Police Blotter
Man interviewed by police before fleeing on foot.
An officer responded to Concordia University, 7400 Augusta Ave., after campus security reported a suspicious vehicle parked in a campus parking structure near Bonnie Brae and Thomas streets at about 5:35 p.m. on Oct. 8.
Officers reported that they found a couple engaged in sexual activity as well as evidence of drug use when they approached the vehicle. Both subjects were uncooperative with police and provided questionable identification, the officers said. Police said they had reason to suspect that the 19-year-old male subject they found was wanted on a no-bond felony warrant from Indiana.
Police said the male suspect abruptly fled police on foot from the campus and headed east into Oak Park. The officers said they conducted an extensive search of the area, but were unable to locate the man. Police reported no charges were filed against the female and the male's description was shared with area police. The case is still under investigation.
