This is Nadia: She Needs a Home

Want to give a pet a loving home? Here's how.

Each weekend, Patch will present a cat and a dog available for adoption through the Animal Care League in Oak Park.

Cats get Saturdays, dogs are on Sundays.

This is Nadia, a two-year-old Lab mix that came to the Animal Care League by way of Oklahoma with her seven beautiful puppies. She was a great mom and her puppies have grown by leaps and bounds. Nadia's puppies have found their forever homes and now Nadia is looking for her forever home.

She is very affectionate and loves going for walks, especially on these beautiful fall days. Nadia is housebroken, but will need some basic training. Training her should be fun because she loves to get treats for good behavior. Nadia enjoys the company of other dogs and would do best in a household with older children.

Meet Nadia and other pets at the ALC's office, 1011 Garfield St. For hours, call 708-848-8155.
