Last year, District 97 parent Cathi Knickrehm was recognized by PTO Today and Savings Bank Life Insurance (SBLI) as a superstar volunteer for her efforts to beautify the exterior landscape at Hatch Elementary School, which included the creation of the “Hatch Patch” organic garden. Cathi was recently named a finalist in the SBLI Top Superstar Volunteer Contest. If her story receives the most votes in the contest by February 11, 2013, Hatch will receive $1000.
