Join the Oak Park Concert Chorale, Paul Lindblad, Director, for A Feast of Carols to welcome the holiday
season. Virgil Thomson’s Scenes from the
Holy Infancy will be the centerpiece of this festive concert which will also feature favorite carols both ancient and modern.
Other works on the program will include compositions by Francis Poulenc and Randall Thompson as well as Chicago area composers Paul Bouman, Paul Lindblad, the late Thomas Gieschen and the premiere of a newly commissioned carol by Carl Schalk.
