Brought to you by APPLAUSE!, a performing arts organization dedicated to promoting the performing arts at OPRF, the event, Huskie Music Fest is the perfect treat for music lovers of all ages!
Program features:
- Choral Ensembles - 6:30 p.m. (Student Center)
- Concert Band and Symphonic Band - 7:00 p.m. (1 West Gym)
- Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble 7:30 p.m. (1 West Gym)
- Special Dance Performance by Orchesis - 7:30 p.m. (Student Center)
- Concert Orchestra and String Orchestra - 8:10 p.m. (1 West Gym)
- Symphony Orchestra - 8:40 p.m. (1 West Gym)
- Noteworthy/Spelling Bee preview - 8:40 p.m. (Student Center)

Huskie Music Fest is a fundraising event for APPLAUSE!, a 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to provide student scholarships and support for extracurricular enrichment for Oak Park River Forest High School’s performing arts departments. Any donation above the ticket price level is tax deductible.

More About Oak Park & River Forest High School
The Greek scrawling on Oak Park River Forest High School's century-old seal translates to "Those things that are best." And since 1873, the faculty and students at OPRF have sought to achieve the very best in education and athletics.
Students at this large four-year public high school take part in a rich curriculum with more than 200 classes in nine academic areas, including traditonal subjects of study as well as fine arts and the performing arts, technology, business education, family and consumer sciences and special education. Select students may also qualify for honors and advanced placement courses.
The school also offers abundant extra-curricular activities and student clubs, from Gospel choirs to mock trial teams to the astronomy and outdoor adventure clubs. The OPRF Huskies athletic program sponsors nearly 30 sports programs and 80 different team levels.
Notable OPRF alumni include Ernest Hemingway, Ray Kroc, Thomas Lennon, Dan Castellaneta, Percy Lavon Julian, Kathy Griffin, Paul Harvey Jr. and many more.
