More About Barrie Park
The former site of a contaminant-laden industrial park, Barrie Park underwent an extensive clean-up effort that brought together village officials and private industry.
The clean-up period lasted about five years, and the park eventually reopened in 2003. It now features a ball field, sled hill, a soccer field, walking path and playground.
