Overcoming Attachment
Attachment is a craving, addictive mind that tells us that we will find satisfaction outside ourselves, in people, places, and things. But rather than promoting the happiness we long for, the mind of attachment actually guarantees that we will experience dissatisfaction, pain, and frustration. If we truly wish to enjoy people, places, and things, we need to learn how to control our mind and overcome our attachment.
