In the winter of 1915, a small group of people from different faiths gathered in a rented Madison Street storefront and called themselves the Madison Street Bible Church.

Through decades of expansion — and a 1977 fire that destroyed much of the church's property — church leaders refocused their efforts and purchased their new building at at 931 Lake Street.

Today, church leaders serve a congregation of about 1,000 and offer a wide-range of youth and missionary programs.
