 onaco\, Wonderwall's co-owner\, picked up her ukulele\, an instrument th
 at was a part of her Hawaiian culture growing up on the Hawaiian Island 
 of O'ahu where she was born and raised.\nAfter almost 2 years of playing
  with friends and holding ukulele sessions in Wonderwall\, she officiall
 y founded the Oak Park Ukulele Meetup Group aka The Harrison Street Ukul
 ele Players!\nThe original meeting place was at Wonderwall's old locatio
 n which could only hold less than 10 people. Fortunately\, Eastgate Cafe
 ' opened for business in the spring of 2008 and the group moved there an
 d expanded over the years.\nIn the summer of 2010\, Wonderwall moved to 
 its present location.&nbsp\;After settling in\, Wonderwall now has the&n
 bsp\;space to&nbsp\;accommodate members and hold other activities.\nTo d
 ate\, there over 100 ukulele members\, including Chicago's very own WXRT
  93.1fm DJ and 2010 National Radio Hall of Fame Inductee&nbsp\; TERRI HE
 MMERT who became an 'Honorary Ukulele Member' of this Oak Park ukulele g
