A Fun Fact About OPRF Football

It's the first year since '81 that all four Huskie football teams have been 4-0.

At last night's Oak Park and River Forest High School board meeting, District 200 Superintendent Dr. Steven Isoye shared in his superintendent's report Thursday that this is the first year, since 1981, that all four of the OPRF football teams have been 4-0.

The Huskies will try to keep that streak going when they play York (2-2, 0-1) in Elmhurst tonight. The game will stream live on HighSchoolCube.com for those who can't make the game.

(D200 Board President John Phelan said it was a little disturbing that Isoye was referencing a time that he himself was a student at OPRF.)

Last week, the Associated Press ranked OPRF No. 8 in Class 8A,according to High School Cube News. Will the Huskies keep their streak going?
