As many of you are getting ready to travel during the Thanksgiving weekend, we thought we could make your lives easier with the map that helps you find where to get gas for your trip.

Unlike other crowdfunding websites like Kickstarter, GoFundMe focuses more on helping people fund very personal goals like school tuition, medical bills or, in the cases above, people whose lives have been turned upside down by an accident or other misfortune. Map: Areas With Poverty & People Paying ‘Too Much’ for Rent
The map shows a snapshot across town of the percentage of people living in poverty and the percentage of people who spent 35 percent or more of their income on rent. The National Low Income Housing Coalition defines affordable rent as at or below 30 percent of income for low-income families. We've mapped homes that are paying at least 5 percentage points more than this "affordable" level.

The map shows a snapshot across town of the percentage of families living in poverty and the percentage of homes without heating fuel or heating equipment. The amount of energy used to heat homes has been dropping as homes begin to adopt better insulation and more efficient windows. In 2009, 48 percent of energy consumption was for heating and cooling, down from 58 percent in 1993.
