Lemonade Stand to Support Youths With Developmental Disabilities

Lemonade stand to support Opportunity Knocks: A lemonade stand to benefit Opportunity Knocks, a nonprofit serving young people with developmental disabilities in Oak Park, Forest Park and River Forest, will be held from 1-3 p.m. at 105 Thatcher Ave. in River Forest. Suggested donations are $1 for lemonade, $2 for Mrs. Elza's famous cupcakes and $5 for some incredible Italian bread.
Local high schools make USA Today rankings: Oak Park and River Forest High School and Fenwick High School are among the top 100 football schools in Illinois, according to a recent USA Today ranking.
Library blood drive is tomorrow: The Oak Park Public Library will host a blood drive tomorrow from noon until 4 p.m. (All donors get a certificate for free ice cream). More info here.
