Marriage Equality Rally Tonight in Oak Park

OPALGA and Organizing for Action's Oak Park chapter will host a Marriage Equality Town Hall and Rally at the Carleton Hotel.

OPALGA and Organizing for Action's Oak Park chapter will host a Marriage Equality Town Hall and Rally at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Carleton Hotel, 1110 Pleasant St. in Oak Park. 

Illinois Unites for Marriage, a coalition of Equality Illinois, LAMBDA Legal and the ACLU, and several supporting groups will introduce their senior staff and discuss their plan for moving the marriage equality bill forward, according to the PFLAG Council of Northern Illinois.

The event will run from 7-9:30 p.m. in the hotel's Foxboro Room, followed by socializing at Poor Phil's or Barclay's.
