Come Meet Carlos at the Animal Care League

My name is Carlos and I came to the ACL as a stray. Everything was very scary to me, the streets and the shelter, so I went into foster care. My foster mom will tell you that I am a sweet little companion. I like to sit on laps or curl up next to you on the sofa. I enjoy playing with small toys (got my own toy mouse collection), tackling pig ears as well as running and wrestling with my foster brother. When I am excited I canter and gallop in circles, for example when we get ready to go out. I am housebroken and crate trained. I am somewhat of a guard dog in that I bark when someone comes to the door. I am not big on children and cats. They seem unpredictable to me and make me very nervous. I would like to find an adult only home or one with kids 16 years or older, a person or family who would be gentle with me and help me not get overwhelmed in this big world.
