ComEd Volunteers Celebrate National Volunteer Week by Helping Feed the Hungry at Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry

Employee volunteers from ComEd partnered with the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry to honor National Volunteer Week on Saturday, April 12. ComEd volunteers assisted food pantry clients with shopping for food items.

The employee volunteer event was part of ComEd’s company-wide observance of National Volunteer Week (April 6-12) and National Volunteer Month (April), an annual nationwide celebration of people working to improve their communities through service.  The event is one of more than community service projects ComEd employees are leading in celebration of National Volunteer Week and National Volunteer Month.
