Dominican University presents annual student fashion show

Dominican University’s 2014 senior apparel design and merchandising class presents its annual spring fashion show March 29 and 30 in the Lund Auditorium, 7900 W. Division Street. The show, which is entirely student-run, will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. and on Sunday, March 30 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 and are available in advance online at www.events.dom.edu or by calling the box office at (708) 488-5000.

With a theme of “REVEAL: Our Moment in Fashion,” the vision for the show is to reflect and interpret students’ journey as a senior class and to represent their growth, both as a group and as individuals. The show will offer audience members a unique perspective on the students’ entire process, not just their finished products. Including almost 100 garments constructed throughout the academic year, the show will reflect the work of a variety of students, skill levels and opportunities.

During the final show at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, President Donna Carroll will preside over a culminating awards ceremony.
