Help with the Affordable Care Act

Individuals who need help understanding and registering for President Obama’s signature health care law, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), can talk to one of the Proviso Township Mental Health Commission’s trained “assisters” at a communitywide social service fair in Oak Park on October 19, 2013.

“For some people, a face-to-face meeting is better than the internet,” said Proviso Township Mental Health Commission Executive Director Jesse D. Rosas.  “This gives them that opportunity.”

This is one of several community events to help people with the new healthcare law that the PTMHC will participate in.
