Matthew Kircher, MD, Joins Loyola's Department of Otolaryngology
Matthew Kircher, MD, an otolaryngologist who specializes in otology, neurotology and skull base surgery, has joined Loyola University Medical Center.
Dr. Kircher, who lives in Oak Park, is an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Division of Head and Neck Surgery, of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. The department is ranked 33rd in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. Dr. Kircher also is on staff at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital.
Dr. Kircher earned bachelor of science and master of science degrees from Eastern Illinois University and an MD degree from Rush Medical College. He completed a residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at Loyola, and a Neurotology fellowship at the Michigan Ear Institute in Farmington Hills, Mi.

During his fellowship, Dr. Kircher was on staff at Beaumont Hospital and Providence Medical Center. In 2013, he won the 78th Annual Providence Hospital Research Award.
