River Forest's Roosevelt Middle School's 8th Grade Girls Track and Field Team took home the Class AA Sectional title on May 17 in Bolingbrook. In addition, nine Roosevelt track athletes, including one member of the Boys Track Team, are heading to the State Track Meet, May 23-24 in Peoria. Roosevelt's track coaches are Louisa Starr, Mike Schlachter, Wendy Perry, Don Karcher and Dan Courtney.
