You're Invited: Public Forum with Anan Abu-Taleb and Bob Tucker

Village President Anan Abu-Taleb announces Open Forums for Community Discussion

Please join Village President Anan Abu-Taleb and Village Trustee Robert Tucker at the first Community Forum in the Veteran's Room of the Main Library on August 28th, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Residents are invited to take this opportunity to share their thoughts, concerns and ideas with him, other elected officials, and fellow residents in this and future forums.

Scheduling these open forums fulfills a campaign pledge by President Abu-Taleb who promised a more transparent and inclusive administration. “I believe that Oak Park’s greatest strength is our residents,” said Abu-Taleb. “Our residents are active in the community and know what is best for Oak Park. I hope these forums serve as a catalyst to help move Oak Park forward.”

Villagers have expressed a desire to hear directly from the Board and President Abu-Taleb about the issues they care about. These forums will provide an informal opportunity for the residents of Oak Park to engage directly with their elected officials.

If you are unable to attend this event, the next forum will be October 8th in the Maze Library.
