Eco-conscious street fair takes place outside Public Works Center.

OK, OK. So you already know the 36th Annual Oak Park Market .

But right down the road, you can visit Earth Fest, an eco-friendly street fair taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the , 201 South Blvd.

More than 40 vendors have signed up for the second event, now in its second year. They include vendors selling personal care items, books, educational materials on gardening and services for healthy and sustainable living.

Parts of the public works center will be open to the public, with village officials offering tours of the LEED-certified building. According to the village, here's some of the day's highlights:
