Oak Park Police Blotter: Cash, Jewelry Stolen From Homes
Electronics also swiped in rash of residential burglaries.

THEFT: A package containing a woman's dress was stolen Saturday from an unlocked mailroom in the 100 block of South Ridgeland Avenue.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A decorative ceramic post outside a residence in the 100 block of Forest Place was damaged Saturday.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: A computer tower, keyboard and monitor valued at a combined $2,000 were stolen Saturday from a residence in the 1000 block of Pleasant Place.
BURGLARY: An ATM card, cash and a boy's bicycle were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 400 block of North Kenilworth Avenue on Saturday.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: A silver Dell computer, monitor, keyboard and white iPod valued at a combined $2,000 were stolen Friday during a burglary at a home in the 300 block of Harrison Street.
BURGLARY: A snowblower valued at $600 was stolen from a garage in the 800 block of North Euclid Avenue on Friday.
RETAIL THEFT: David Thomas, 48, of Chicago, was charged with stealing merchandise from at 259 Lake St. on Friday.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A small stone was used to break the bathroom window of a garden apartment in the 200 block of South Kenilworth Avenue on Friday, causing about $25 in damage.
BURGLARY ATTEMPT: A would-be thief was spotted Friday using a pry tool during a burglary attempt to a home in the 1000 block of North Austin Boulevard.
THEFT: A cell phone was snatched from the hands of a victim walking in the 800 block of Oak Park Avenue on Thursday.
BIKE THEFT: A green Diamondback BMX bicycle valued at $100 was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 500 block of North Cuyler Avenue.
THEFT: A catalytic converter valued at $800 was stolen Thursday from a 1997 Toyota 4-Runner parked along Madison Street.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: The front passenger door and hood of a gray 2005 Pontiac Vibe parked in the 900 block of Pleasant Street were damaged Thursday.
WARRANT ARREST: Heather Gorski, 38, 514 S. Kenilworth Ave, was arrested on an Oak Park warrant for theft on Thurday, police said.
RECKLESS DRIVING: Keith Logan, 35, of Hillside, was charged Wednesday with reckless driving, marijuana possession, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed.
THEFT: The spare tire and vinyl cover of a 2002 Honda CRV parked in the 100 block of Linden Avenue were stolen Wednesday.
RETAIL THEFT: Camcorders and iPods were among the items stolen during a break-in to Cash America, 6303 North Ave., on Wednesday.
THEFT: A catalytic converter was stolen from a black Honda Element parked in the 1100 block of North Boulevard on Wednesday.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: An Amazon Kindle, three laptops, an external hard drive and a black laptop computer valued at a combined $3,090 were stolen Tuesday during a burglary at a home in the 100 block of North Harvey Avenue.
THEFT: Rodrick J. Harris, 22, 114 Frank Lloyd Wright Lane, was charged with theft Tuesday after taking items from on Lake Street, police said.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: The rear driver's side window of a car parked in the 1100 block of Home Street was broken after being hit with a rock over night Tuesday.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: About $300 in cash and jewelry valued at $4,500 were stolen Tuesday during a break-in to a home in the 700 block of North Oak Park Avenue.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: Two LCD televisions, two computers and jewelry valued at a combined $10,600 were stolen Tuesday during a burglary to a home in the 1100 block of Home Avenue.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A rock was tossed through the rear window of a car parked in the 1100 block of Home Avenue on Tuesday, causing about $500 in damages.
THEFT: Two planters valued at $70 were stolen from a porch in the 300 block of South Humphrey Avenue about Nov. 15.
