Chilly and Breezy Tuesday, Chance of Showers Later This Week

"WeatherWatch" is a new Patch feature for Monday mornings here in Oak Park, River Forest and Forest Park, and it's just like it sounds: we'll be taking a quick peek at what the skies will be offering us for the week ahead.

This week looks like a mixed autumnal bag, with temperatures dropping precipitously nearly into the 30s on Tuesday night (and likely getting there with wind chill,) plus some possible rain later in the week, but also some high 70s on Monday and a pleasant-looking weekend.

Thursday: Partly sunny during the day, partly cloudy at night with a 30 percent chance of showers. Low 70s during the day, mid 50s at night.

Friday: Mostly cloudy through the day and into the night with a 40 percent chance of showers. Mid 60s during the day, low 50s at night.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy during the day with a slight chance of showers, partly cloudy at night. High 60s during the day, high 40s at night.
