Flash flood warning in effect until 2:30 a.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Cook County that will be in effect until 2:30 a.m. Thursday. 

"At 8:15 p.m.... National Weather Service doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Two to three inches of rain has already fallen across portions of the area," the warning states. 

Crazy weather will probably affect traffic around Oak Park, so use the interactive map above to track any issues in the area if you're going to be on the road.
