Nominations Under Way for Green Awards
Village of Oak Park accepting nominations for local green leaders.
Do you know anyone who has made the "going green" mantra more than a catchphrase?
If so, village officials hope you'll nominate him or her for the Green Awards, a program created by Oak Park's Environmental & Energy Advisory Commission.
The goal is simple: to "recognize specific deeds or actions that embody and advance work toward a sustainable future," according to a news release.

Nomination forms are available here. The deadline to submit the application is Sept. 30.
