If you get up early on Saturday morning just to dunk your freshly-made donut into a cup of hot coffee, this weekend's the last chance to do it for a while.
The flowers, the apples, pumpkins and lively bluegrass music also will be gone when the Oak Park Farmer's Market closes its 37th season.
The market is open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Pilgrim Congregational Church, 460 Lake St.
Want to help put together next year's market? The Oak Park Farmer's Market Commission has several openings for citizen volunteers. Call the village clerk at 708-358-5670 for more information or apply online.
