Registration Still Open for Chamber Masquerade Ball

Event, coinciding with the organization's 100th anniversary, will be Oct. 26.

There's still plenty of time to sign up for the Forest Park Chamber of Commerce and Development's inaugural masquerade ball.

The 100th anniversary celebration will start at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Park District headquarters, 7501 W. Harrison St.

An open bar and appetizers, music and dancing will be featured during the event.

If you've been scarfing up raffle tickets, this is the night winners of the large-screen television, $1,500 and $250 will be announced. You can still buy them at $10 a pop at the Chamber office, 7331 W. Roosevelt Rd., or during the night of the event.

The cost for the event is $60 per person, $100 per couple. It's black tie optional and you have to wear a mask, the more elaborate the better.

Registration deadline is Oct. 15. Only 175 spots are available - first-come, first-serve.

To get your name on the list call 708-366-2542 or email Laurie Kokenes, the executive director, at  laurie@exploreforestpark.com.
