Sen. Don Harmon joins Knox College Board of Trustees at October board meeting.
Illinois Senator Don Harmon (D-Oak Park) has joined the Knox College Board of Trustees as an alumni trustee, the Knox Student reported Tuesday.
Harmon, an '88 graduate of Knox College, was one of six new members elected to the board earlier this year.
Harmon has served in the Illinois State Senate since 2003, representing the 39th Legislative District.
"In the Senate, he has advocated for educational and economic opportunity, greater access to affordable health care, and government and ethics reform," according to a message on the Knox College website.
