This is Annie - She Needs a Home

Want to give a pet a loving home? Here's how.

Each weekend, Patch will present a cat and a dog available for adoption through the Animal Care League in Oak Park.

Cats get Saturdays, dogs are on Sundays. Why? Alphabetical order.

This is Annie, a 2-year-old German Shepherd. A shocked community brought her to the Animal Care League after spotting a man tie her to a fence along the I-290. Since arriving here, she's proven herself to be affectionate and sweet with new people. Once she settles into her stride, she's a joy to walk around the block. She's had no training and her new owner will need to commit to teaching her the basics and housebreaking. She seems afraid of cats and appears to have limited experience with other dogs. If you love German Sheperds, it will be worth your time to come meet her.
