This is Ryan - He Needs a Home

Want to give a pet a loving home? Here's how.

Each weekend, Patch will present a cat and a dog available for adoption through the Animal Care League in Oak Park.

Cats get Saturdays, dogs are on Sundays.

This is Ryan. Ryan is a "sponsored pet!" This is great news for both Ryan and his adopter. An ACL sponsor has generously donated $25 to assist Ryan on his way to a new home. This amount will be deducted from Ryan's adoption fee at the time of his adoption.

He's a handsome fellow, a 4-year-old shorthair with a low-key personality. He is sweet and affectionate but has a very calm nature. He seems to enjoy laying in a cat bed and looking out of the window in the adoption room. He was found in River Forest on a resident's porch and was brought to ACL by Animal Control. Ryan gets along with other felines but they must be respectful felines - he's all about personal space when it comes to other cats. He is also recommended for households with children ages 10 and older.

Meet Ryan and other pets at the ALC's office, 1011 Garfield St. For hours, call 708-848-8155.
