Viewfinder: Seeing the Little Things
Finding the beautiful details around town on a very sunny August day.
After eight weeks reporting on events that happen in Oak Park and River Forest, I've noticed the beauty in the small details around the area.
It's too easy to go from assignment to assignment without "stopping to smell the flowers," so to speak. So I plugged my headphones into my iPod, put on some tunes (Noah and the Whale, FYI) and took a long walk.
I admit I love using Instagr.am, a photo service on the iPhone that lets people put neat filters on their photos.
