Brown, Lambert & Phillips to Perform at Oak Park Arms Jan. 6

The Monday Night Concert Series continues with “Brown, Lambert & Phillips” at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave. The group is comprised of Jeannie Lambert, Andy Brown and Russ Philips. Together they will play the great American standards from the 20s, 30s and 40s.

Lambert sings vocals and has performed with groups such as Larry Elgart’s Big Band as well as at the Chicago Jazz Fest and the LA Sweet & Hot Music Festival.

Phillips is on the trombone, and has played jazz festivals all over the world, including Scotland, Hungary and Australia.

Brown is a guitarist who has played all over Chicago with singer Petra. In addition, he has performed at many Jazz festivals both nationally and internationally and has also played for Barbara Streisand on the Opera TV show and at many Jazz fests.
