Casting Call in Chicago For 'Star Wars' Roles

Find out when and where you can audition for the next 'Star Wars' movie.

You could be the next Harrison Ford or Natalie Portman, or if you're not as lucky Mark Hamill or Carrie Fisher.

Casting directors will be in town looking to fill two roles in the much hyped upcoming 'Star Wars' sequel.

The Chicago date for the nationwide casting is Thursday, Nov. 14 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Park West Theater, 322 W. Armitage Ave. Only two roles are being cast at the Chicago stop. It's one of six stops casting directors are making around the country over the next two weeks.

Casting directors are looking for a young woman between 17 and 18 years old described as "beautiful and smart." The male role is someone who is handsome, smart and athletic between the ages of 19 and 23.

If you can't make it to the casting call, you can submit a tape of yourself reading for the role. Instructions are on open casting call's website

The original call out was categorized as an unnamed Disney film, however Redeye confirmed with Lucasfilms that the stop was in fact for roles in the classic sci-fi films.

The seventh installment of the Star Wars franchise is set to be released on Dec. 18, 2015, and will be directed by J.J. Abrams.
