Celebrate A Green Halloween At The Lake Theatre! As Part of Village of Oak Park’s Green Halloween Event

Oak Park, IL – This year, the Lake Theatre is adding the color green to the Halloween season as our favorite green claymation character Gumby makes his way to Oak Park! Kick off your Halloween festivities early this year at the Lake Theatre featuring a FREE screening of the 1995 film “Gumby: The Movie” (G) on Saturday, October 13th at 10 AM. This special event is presented in conjunction with the Village of Oak Park’s Green Halloween event. Bring the whole family, and don’t forget your cameras, as Gumby will be making a very special appearance before the film! The Lake Theatre is located at 1022 Lake Street.

“Gumby: The Movie” follows the nostalgic 1950’s television claymation character Gumby and his band The Clayboys as they raise money during a benefit concert to rescue the local farmers’ property from the evil Blockheads. The Blockheads threaten to ruin Gumby's benefit concert by replacing the entire city of Clokeytown with robots.
