Community Unites in Support of Local Filmmaker Michael Bassett

Look out Sundance!  It’s a not-so-well-kept secret that the Oak Park and River Forest area is chock-full of famous artists, actors, directors, producers, TV personalities and authors. Celebrate  local arts and artists on February 22 by attending a screening of the award-winning short film The White Box written and produced by well-known local filmmaker Michael Bassett.  The White Box explores the meaning of personal fulfillment while taking the viewer through an introspective quest to find out “What’s in the White Box?”  This is your opportunity to attend the only scheduled local screening of this award winning short film.  See The White Box and meet the filmmaker, Michael Bassett, on February 22 from 7-9 pm at Divine Consign (810 North Boulevard, Oak Park).  Share the experience as you walk the red carpet and enjoy offerings from Maya del Sol and Wells Street Popcorn.
