At 7 p.m., Poetry Foundation President John Barr speaks about Hemingway the poet. A poet himself, Barr admired Hemingway who prized, as the author said, "poetry written
into prose." Barr writes in his "American Poetry in the New Century" in Poetry magazine that poets should learn from Hemingway "the effect of how we live on what we write."
