Home for the Holidays on Harrison

The Oak Park Arts District will be lighting up Harrison Street December 9th and 10th with their annual Holiday Lights.  Artist Galleries and specialty shops will be open during this time allowing for a unique shopping experience. If it’s a one-of-a-kind gift you’re looking for, the Arts District is the place to go! 

At the Galleries and Boutiques:

Our unique boutiques and galleries will have a wide range of gifts available, including but certainly not limited to, hand-sewn clothing, pottery, jewelry, and, of course, paintings!  If you want a little hands-on gift making, you can join a collage card workshop at Calypso Moon or make a special snowflake ornament at Bead in Hand. 

Special attractions:

Live music at Val’s halla, The Eastgate Cafe and The Buzz Cafe.

Gingerbread House Contest for Children - win a one-day pass to an OPAD art camp.

Spend $100 at participating businesses and receive a free artistically decorated Holiday Wreath!

Raffle

Winter clothing (gloves, scarves & hats) donations will be accepted at various business to benefit The Closet in Oak Park.
