Nurturing Your Soul / Oak Park Place Apartments

Join local author, speaker and teacher, Linda Howe, for an evening of "Nurturing Your Soul." Linda is the leading expert in the field of Akashic Studies and the award-winning author of the breakthrough book, How to Read the Akashic Records and the soon-to-be-released Healing Through the Akashic Records (Sounds True, 2011). She is committed to empowering her students to recognize the Light within, and to know their own soul more than ever before. With a greater awareness of the truth, her students are more successful at living lives that demonstrate the universal goodness of the human soul.

Linda has successfully taught thousands to work in the Records as a spiritual practice since 1996. Widely regarded as a gifted teacher, Linda Howe is known for making spiritual ideas understandable and useful in the daily lives of her students, enabling them to experience the growth and transformation they seek.

The evening will include additional soul enhancements through music, food, drink and visual art in the rooftop hospitality suite of the Oak Park Place Apartments.

Cheryl Lynn Tomblin of PIPES will provide the musical entertainment during this evening. She is a singer/songwriter from Maywood, IL. When she was 17 years old she received her first guitar from her mother, Beveryl Tomblin. Cheryl's influences include Alice In Chains, Chris Cornell, PJ Harvey, Nina Simone, Robert Johnson, and Led Zeppelin. Her music and lyrics have been described as being dark and melancholy, holding her audience captivated by her cyclic guitar riffs and smokey vocal undertones. She has played in various venues in the Chicagoland area including FitzGerald's, Reggie's Music Joint, The Elbo Room and Uncommon Ground. Suzan Jardine of Brown Eyed Suzans will share her delectable treats during this evening. Her inspiration comes from baking from scratch, in small batches, just like her mom. 5% of her profits is donated to charities that support women. www.browneyedsuzans.com
