View and Review movie series features “The Caine Mutiny”

Oak Park Arms presents its popular series, “View and Review: You be the Critic,” at 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 11, in the Patio Room at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Avenue, Oak Park.

Hosted by radio announcer Dan Kane, “View and Review” features “The Caine Mutiny” starring Humphrey Bogart, José Ferrer and Van Johnson. The 1954 drama was nominated for seven Academy Awards. It tells the story of a U.S. naval captain whose mental instability jeopardizes the ship. The first officer steps in but faces court martial for mutiny.

Following the film, Kane will lead a lively discussion.

The Oak Park Arms is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay - a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
