As the mother of a US Army National Guard soldier whose son recently returned home safely from Afghanistan, but still has 3 more years to serve; the daughter of a late US Army Sgt (Korean War); a sister of a retired USAF Flight Engineer (Desert Storm, Persian Gulf War), this is my way of saying THANK YOU!
I encourage all of us to THANK a soldier for serving our country. Show them you care and are grateful for their service to our country. Buy them a drink, a meal. Give them a handshake, a hug.
