Former Fenwick Student Talks About Role in 'Robocop' Reboot

Aimee Garcia, known for her role as serial killer Dexter Morgan's nanny on Showtime's 'Dexter' talks about working with Gary Oldman on a reboot of 'Robocop.'

A former Fenwick High School student appears to be enjoying the Hollywood life in California.

Amiee Garcia, best known for her role as Dexter Morgan's nanny on the Showtime hit, Dexter, will be working on a new role as a scientist who helps bring Robocop to life.

Garcia talked with the Chicago Tribune recently about shooting scenes with Gary Oldman, who also starts in the classic story of this police robot, and called it a dream come true.

The new movie is set in 2028 with Garcia playing a prodigy scientist who helps Gary Oldman's character with his work on Robocop. Scenes start shooting in Toronto on Saturday and the movie is expected to be released sometime in August 2013.
