Why Go: Brian Sinclair Gordon brings Ernest Hemingway to life in this one-man show, which takes the audience through a series of live storytelling. Cuban music, food and drinks, and a self-guided museum tour follow.

WORLD INDO-AFRO FUNK FRIDAY & BLUES SATURDAY AT FITZGERALD'S
When/Where: 9:30 p.m. Friday and 9 p.m. Saturday at FitzGerald's, 6615 W. Roosevelt Road in Berwyn
Why Go: First, Funkadesi, a multi-ethnic band known for its worldly blend of root music will celebrate their 15th year with an anniversary show on Friday. On Saturday, Nick Moss & The Flip Tops bring their blues blend to the stage. Jimmy Johnson, The Chicago Blues Angels will both play opening sets.
