Why Go: Clare Booth Luce’s 1930s-era acidic comedy of the pampered lives and power struggles of wealth Manhattan socialites and up-and-comers.
Price: Tickets are $22 on Fridays and Saturday; $26 for adults and $24 for seniors and students on Sunday.

When/Where: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 7 p.m. Sunday at , 167 Forest Ave. in Oak Park.
Why Go: This production of the Oak Park Festival brings the Bard outdoors.

Devon Allman's Honeytribe

Why Go: Shows on the main stage and in the Sidebar. Highlight of the weekend will be Devon Allman’s Honeytribe, featuring the son of legendary rocker Gregg Allman; the band will take the stage at 9 p.m. on Friday.

Val’s 39th Annual Sale and Rock Music
When/Where: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at , 238 W. Harrison St. in Oak Park.
Why Go: Storewide sale with bargains and great music, a real social and musical event. Appearing on stage: 2 p.m. Saturday, Snake Oil Salesmen, a rootsy rock band of students from ; 5:30 pm Saturday, ; 12:30 pm Sunday, Bil Vermette, electronica.

Feeding Time at Trailside
When/Where: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, , 738 Thatcher Ave. in River Forest.
Why Go: Families can learn about the natural history of resident outdoor animals like coyotes, fox and hawks as they are given their dinner.
