According to information provided by Grace, the exhibit was brought to River Forest by church member Sue Foran. Foran and her husband traveled to Palestine recently, "to see the occupation firsthand and better understand the issues."

The exhibit came together as a juried call for art by the Evangelical Lutheran Christmas Church and Big Stars—a nonprofit organization in Palestine that provides art, culture and education to Christians and Muslims in the region.

Friday night's reception starts at 7:30 p.m. and will run until 9 p.m.
