You know, just in case...

Here at Oak Park-River Forest Patch, we try to be optimists. We don't like to think the Rapture is headed our way Saturday. And if it is, we'll almost certainly be, um, left behind.

So let's talk plans.

Here's a few essential places to visit, events to attend and things to do while we're the last people left in Oak Park and River Forest on Saturday. Or maybe this is a list of things to do before you ascend. Either way.

Grab a , 708 Lake St. No better treat for Rapture watching than hot dogs and french fries. Am I right?

Visit the Oak Park Farmers' Market, 460 Lake St. This could be our last chance, after all, to stock up on local organic produce and gourmet cheese.
